Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Vaporize mobile app (“Vaporize”, “the app”, “we”) handles your information. Please also read our Terms of Use, which include an important Medical Disclaimer.

The short version. Vaporize is built to be private by design. Your data stays on your device. We do not operate any servers to which the app connects, we do not need app accounts, and we do not collect, receive, sell, or share your personal data. There is no cloud sync or backend server. The data is yours to do with what you want.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following locally on your device only:

We never transmit any of this information to us. We have no ability to access it.

Email reports (optional)

If you use email reports, the app opens your device’s own email app with a message pre-filled to the recipient you choose — you review it and tap send. The app stores no email passwords or sign-in credentials and uses no mail server of ours. We are not a party to those emails and never see their contents. Your use of your email app is governed by that provider’s own privacy policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to email anyone you add as an accountability partner.

Links to health resources

Some encouragement messages link to reputable third-party health websites (for example, the CDC, NHS, or American Lung Association). Opening a link launches your browser and is subject to that site’s privacy policy. We do not share any information with those sites.

Analytics, ads, and tracking

Vaporize contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Children

Vaporize is intended for adults (18+) who are trying to reduce or quit nicotine use. It is not directed to children.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you can erase everything at any time via Settings → Reset all data, and uninstalling the app removes its locally stored data.

Security

Your on-device data is held in an encrypted database, and the key that protects it is stored in the platform’s secure keystore/keychain. The app has no login and stores no passwords or account credentials. You can also lock the app with your device biometrics or PIN. No security measure is perfect, and you are responsible for securing your device (for example, with a screen lock).

This website (vaporizemobile.com)

This marketing website does not require an account and does not collect personal information through forms. Like most websites, our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operation. If you choose to make a contribution to the founder’s family college fund, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor on its own pages; we never see or store your full card details, and that processor’s privacy policy governs your payment. A contribution is a personal gift and does not create an account or unlock anything in the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and the version distributed with the app.
